1. Mistake 1 People never change:

You might be spending or i should be saying wasting your life to change others like your husband, wife or in-laws or any one else in your life or waiting for them to change but let me save your years of work cause people never change. so Just either accept them as they are and make peace with it or Leave them if it doesn't resonate with your life's Goal.

2. Mistake no. 2 Eternal Love is a myth:

Everyone loves but not someone else but himself. Someone loves you, cause he wants you and he has an image of you that he loves. Real love is accepting the person as he is and not changing him. If you love someone you should accept every part of of it good and bad. Love fades with time. Its not eternal. The best thing honeymoon period when you know nothing about them and when you start to know him we start seeing flaws and love fades. So never make permeant change in your life for temporary love. I have seen many Love affairs and love marriages fail as with time they start hating the same person that they loved. Just love yourself and let go of love when time comes don't stick to it.

3. Mistake no.3 More You Chase more it gets away:

In love always you will notice couples where one partnes is not good enough but the other partner is chasing him and the other partner is not that in love still this person is crazy about the other. In every relationship one is chaser and other is runner. Psychology says You seem more attractive if you are not interested or in love. People likes to win others and when you are not yet won by them, they keep chasing you, cause you seem attractive to them like a target. So if you feel you partner is trying to get rid of you show least interest and try to move on they will chase you back. Some people ask what if he doesnt chase me back, then I will say move on, cause remember mistake 1 and 2 they will never change and there is no eternal love you will move on.
